Replace conveyor belt on Jet 10-20 drum sander

Well, it took me awhile but I finally found a little jet 10 - 20 drum sander I could buy. The guy had upgraded to a bigger sander and just wanted to move it, so he had $100 on his Craigslist ad and I happened to check my email 30 minutes after he posted it. I've missed about 5 so that feels really good! :-)

It needs a new conveyor belt though so here is my question. You can buy the original replacement from Rockler for 50 some dollars, or you can go to Highland Woodworking and get one for $15. The only review on that one said that it is a little thinner than the original. The description says that there is a sandpaper abrasive surface to that conveyor belt. Not knowing what I'm doing with drum sanders, I need wisdom from the drum sander gurus out there. Thank you, once again, for all of your help.

Okay, not knowing any better, I got the one from Highland woodworking and installed it. It seems to fit well. When I took the old one off there wasn't much information that was legible on the back of it. I did discover that a mounting bracket was not installed properly, and there are some ceramic block guides that are magnetically held to the frame to guide the conveyor belt that were not installed at all. So no wonder the old belt got chewed so badly.
