Remounting Rigid R4513 portable saw

I'm looking for some info on remounting the table saw I have. Currently it sits on the portable stand it came with but I'm considering moving it to a more sturdy/functional (larger) sort of table. Is this something that is often done, or is it not worth the trouble and would I just be better off using it as it is and saving up for a "real" table saw?

I'll dig a little more. I think I was searching too specific "Rigid" and not just "portable" stand. I would still be interested in hearing opinions of anyone here who has done this and the pros/cons of their particular build.

No matter how you mount it, it will still be a job site saw, but if it will work better for you that way do it, if you feel it doesn't work any better, you can always go back to the portable stand.
