questions

Alright guys I have a delta 10" 34-670, tablesaw. It has a serpentine belt on it and the belt keeps stripping out or it rides of the gears. The driven motor and the driven spindle both are in the same housing and there is not adjustment to align the two. Both gears are parallel to each other . None of the people at delta or porter cable have a clue. Any ideas ?
