Price for this air Compressor?

Came across this air compressor 30-Gallon Cast Iron Portable Vertical Compressor
5.5 SCFM @ 90 PSI; 135 Max PSI
cast iron, twin cylinder oil-lubricated pump designed for up to 5,000 hours of extended life (based on B-10 bearing rating)
Operates on standard 120 volts

The compressor is 4 years old, has only been turned on twice, is being sold due to divorce for $300.

Unfortunately Amazon has no ratings on this compressor, I did a brief search but no reviews of this compressor.

I am not sure I want something this big, however I do want a twin cylinder head compr, oil type. My plan was to create a space under the wall work bench for a horz tank type. This one I have a corner for it but....

The seller is local less than 5 miles from me, I am thinking I look at it, and see if I can get the price down to $200, if not I pass. I am not in a big hurry to buy right now, I need other stuff.

What do you think

If you could get if for $200, I think it would be a pretty decent deal. I don't think I would spend $300 for it. It also depends what you want to use it for. 5.5cfm @90psi will operate nailguns, small trimgun automotive sprayers. It wouldn't be good for tools that run continously like sandblasters, auto body sanders, etc.

The seller was a divorcee selling her ex tools. She posted a pic of the VT6358, and was unclear of the model number. It was only a single cylinder head. Still in fantastic shape.

I'm holding out for a slightly smaller 22-25 gal twin cylinder head unit.

thanks for the input

Look at harbor freight, they sell the campbell hausfeld stuff. You'll get a better idea of its worth there, not sure if they have reviews tho
