Planer

I'm new to this site and have a question on a Planer I just purchased...
Has anyone ever heard of National Industrial Tools Inc. ?
I recently purchased a 16 inch planer with a 2HP motor...It runs fine, but needs an outfeed roller replaced and can't find anything on line where to purchase any parts.
Any suggestions ?

Is the roller rubber molded or serrated steel? Foley Belsaw still sells parts for their planers but there are not 16" wide. Ebay has quite a few:

If I had to make a rubber coated one I'd use something like this which comes in 1.25, 1.5 and 1.75 ODs:

Other machines like paper printers use rubber rollers:

The answer to your question will only be as detailed and specific as the question is detailed and specific. Good questions also include a sketch or a photo that illustrates your issue. (:< D)

Rubber Roller... The planer looks very similar to the Jet 16" planer.

Welcome to the forum, David! Add your location to your profile so it shows in the side panel.

We like photos of tools, shops, projects, etc. so post whenever you're ready. Good luck on the planer, looks like you've already gotten some good advice.
