Masterforce contractor table saw
Hello all. Kinda new to this site but been making sawdust for 30 odd years an bought a new masterforce ( Menards brand ) contractor table saw a year ago or so and thought I'd give a review..first off I'd like to say i believe its basically the same as the ridged 4512 and the craftsman 21833 with minor differences. I believe the craftsman and the masterforce are the exact same saw. Colors being changed and the profile. The ridged however has a 13 amp motor compared to the 15 amp of the craftsman and the masterforce. Also the fence, I believe is different. The craftsman and masterforce have what I believe to be a cheaper fence. Mine was junk. And I mean junk. I could not adjust the fence enough to make a good cut. It was trash. However the saw itself showed promise. Good power, quiet and passed a nickel test easily. Went out an bought a delta t3 fence for it and it came alive. The delta t3 took awhile to install but turned this saw into a cabinet saw almost immediately. No noise from my Diablo or Freud blades, this thing just rips through oak. Very impressed. Love my masterforce saw. Cant say enough good about it. I imagine a craftsman or ridged will with work deliver the same results but i dont own them. I own a masterforce and it keeps up with me. Menards dont post reviews so i figger ill post my own. Hear about the alighnment problems with the ridged, craftsman and masterforce but i have not had that problem. Hope this helps someone thinkin about a new saw.
