Jet model 6 drill press chuck question

Have an old jet model 6 drill press. It has a very small (D 4 m/m) chuck on it. I have a couple questions I can't seem to answer.

1) where can I find a chuck key form this thing. I contacted jet and they said they don't support this drill press and suggested Jacobs but no luck there.
2) can I put a new keyless chuck or a key chuck on this drill. I have no problem find many options for chucks but don't know how to figure the shank and all that stuff.

Any help is greatly appreciated
