Jet/Craftsman TS motor swap?

Hi all, There is a Jet JTS-10JF table saw with a precision fence (don't know if that is Jet's name for the fence?) for 100 bucks near me, I haven't gone to see it yet, but I'm thinking I might take a look to replace my Craftsman.
The only thing is it doesn't have a motor. I'm wondering if it's a big deal or even possible without great cost to change my motor over to it.

Would it be worthwhile to bother with or should I let it pass?

100 bucks without a motor? That raises a few questions. What did the guy do to kil it? Did he abuse the rest of the saw - which you conveniently can't check since there's no motor? I guess you can take a good look at your motor, measure the mount and all, and then go look at the empty space where his motor should be and see if it fits together.

Insert witty signature line here.

Hi joe,

I forgot the CL link. It is a local resale type place for charity. I hadn't thought of why the motor is gone in the first place. Looking at the ad again it seems to be missing the guard as well.

I think I'll let it go, not that it matters. I slipped up and mentioned it to my wife and she said no lol.

Thanks for responding!
