Industrial Wood Planer

Looking for a 18 to 20 ( approx.) wide single head planer, wedge-bed, something that will hold a .005 tolerance. This will be used in a large scale, high use, wood manufacturing facility. Any recommendations? We used an old Buss unit at another operation we have and it served well, but looking for a newer unit that will hold up as well as the Buss. Had a Powermatic unit at one time and had nothing but problems.

Can't help you find one .....

But I hadn't heard of a wedge bed planer and had to look it up. Found this good video that explains the features. Very cool!

The answer to your question will only be as detailed and specific as the question is detailed and specific. Good questions also include a sketch or a photo that illustrates your issue. (:< D)
