Homer brand bandsaw on CL?

http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/tls/3629425192.html

I tried to find something on the web on this brand to no avail.

I want 10"+ throat height and enough accuracy and power to resaw 10" w. hardwood into 5/32" lumber to bookmatch for guitar tops and backs. I really know next to nothing about the quality of saws and what I would need so your help is (and has been) very much appreciated.

I don't know for sure, but I thought it was a store brand for a west coast retailer......I may be wrong on that.

I could be wrong, but it looks a lot like this one to me:

The non-hinged wheel covers with the hand wheels made me remember this HF model.

Looks like the typical chinese Delta knockoff that were marketed under many brand names. I had a Reliant that could have been its twin. It worked well for me until I found my 1986 Delta.

Hey there,

Homier is a mobile tool sale that travels the northwest. My grandfather and I would always go when those trucks rolled into town. If you google the HDC, or Homier distributing company, it will come up for you. I tried to search for the band saw on the site, but they must not sell it anymore. Think of it as like a traveling Harbor Freight store.

If I were to ask , I'm not sure if I'll take that band saw. I'd probably keep on looking and keep my eyes open
