Hello, new here

and just wanted to chime in. I choose the tool forum to start because I need a final vote so to speak on the 4 bandsaws I have narrowed my search down to. I did a lot of search here and it is how I was able to narrow it to these. Cost, features and overall good reviews on all of them. I will say I am leaning to the Grizzly or Rikon. But the Delta and Shop Fox are appealing. Here they are.
Delta-28-400 14"
Griz GO 555X Extreme 1.5 hp BTW.
Rikon 10-325 1.5 hp
Shop Fox W1706-14.
Thanks and I appreciate it.

Hi there. Just wondering if you've considered the G0513ANV model? Reason I ask is I have that model and highly recommend it. On sale now, it's just $80 more than the G055X and it is quite a bit more machine for that money...

I second the vote for the G0513ANV. I haven't done a whole lot with mine yet but it was a great purchase and I'm glad I went with the bigger model.

Oh wow. I just got off the Griz site and it looks like I will be in your camp with this saw. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the info. I was focused on using the credit that I did not look at the site thinking Amazon was equally priced. The extreme is but this one is WAY off. Plus zero freight and if I get it today an extra 20.00 off. I will let ya know when it arrives!!! Thanks again. A Grizzly anniversary 2hp 17" saw. WOW. thanks again.

Not to mention it's the only tool that my wife has ever called "pretty". All decked out in black and orange, it's a sexy beast, alright....

cartouche,welcome....hang around, lots of nice folks here. Please be dang careful handling your new BS.....well, all BS's really.Folks have this immediate reaction of sorts to grab the table when wrestlin BS's.

Just DON'T!!!

It's the number one reason the table trunnions get broken,It's a leverage vs mounting size thing, and the trunnions lose everytime.Take the table off,it'll make it lighter and keeps the problem at bay.

Gotta say it.....we like pics.Don't even need a whole lot of text.Pics of your saw in it's new home.Pics of sawdust....pics of any creature features you come up with, yada, yada.

Those who say it cannot be done shouldn't interrupt the people doing it.

I have a Delta 14" bandsaw and I would not recommend it. It's not been a good tool for me.

I love everything about Grizzly. Especially the friendly and knowledgeable customer service on those few occasions I needed to contact them.

Those who say it cannot be done should stay out of the way of the people doing it.
