Dragged home a derelict

Well I almost literally dragged home an old craftsman radial arm saw over the weekend. It is a 10" accura arm model #113.29410. The vertical column was missing the cap/angle indicator which has resulted in the pillar being full of dust, dirt, rocks, and rust. Broke everything down and cleaned it.

Treated surface rust with evapo-rust(great stuff if u have never used it). Cleaned it all up and reassembled it and attached the pillar back to the base, also cleaned up and attached the arm back to the top of the pillar. I'm in the process of cleaning up the motor before doing the final re-assembly. I'll get some pics up soon. Any tips and tricks for radial arm saws would be great, this will be my first one.

Seems like a really solid peace and the motor spins smooth and free an has a built in brake that works flawlessly. Very impressed so far. O I also replaced the power cord with a 15' length so I can run it and move it around more.

I'll get pics up ASAP,
Andrew

This Is a broken piece I found when cleaning the motor. From what I can tell it is the brake. All other pieces seem to be solid. This is a powdered metal piece with a d-slot in the center to hold it onto the shaft. Diameter is 2 1/16".
I.d. Of the d slot is 5/8" at the round point. I.d from rounded edge to flat edge of the d slot is 9/16". The piece itself is 5/8" long(not sure long is the right term but meh). If anyone knows where I might find a piece like this please let me know. Sears of course no longer supplies the part

Thanks,
Andrew
