Delta TP305 Planer

Just purchased a Delta TP305 12 1/2" planer. It is in need of an outfeed roller, Delta number 1343876. I've been searching but no luck. Apparently Delta has discontinued the part. I've called several parts suppliers, but no luck. Any suggestions?

Best bet is to cruise c'list for another TP305, or sell yours and upgrade.

Is the roller MIA, broken, or is it just that the rubber is worn away or rotted? If it's the rubber - there are places you can mail rollers to and they'll refurbish them.

Insert witty signature line here.

The planer was a display. The roller has a flat spot on it. The work goes and stops in the machine with both rollers still turning. Where can the roller be sent?

You might cross check to see if the rollers from other Delta 12-1/2" planers might fit...22-560, 22-565, etc. AFAIK, Porter Cable is now selling a PC305TP planer....I don't know but am wondering if their model is similar/same as the former Delta TP305? (they were formerly owned by the same parent company).

Do you know of a place I can send the roller for the rubber to be refurbished?

I don't. You might be able to pickup a used basket case and strip one out of it.

I only know it can be done because just before I bought my Makita I googled it, saw that the rollers could wear but that someone was replacing them. I tried to find original articles again, still looking. I'm sure it was a place in Florida, but all I'm finding is a reference to this place:

alasco.com

they were referenced here: http://forums.finewoodworking.com/fi...ta-2040-planer

I'm still looking for the other article, like I said I thought they were in Florida.

I did find this, entirely new to me:
https://www.woodtechtooling.com/Feed...ngrecover.html

Insert witty signature line here.
