Delta 28-276 Bandsaw

I've come across the above mentioned bandsaw for $150. It has very low usage (he says about an hour) and is probably 4-5 years old. When I research this model, I get some very positive reviews and comments and some really bad ones. I don't need this saw, but have wanted a b.s. for a while and love a good deal. However, I don't want one that's going to be a pain to try to keep running properly, adjust, etc. For the price, would this be a good saw or is it something I should just pass on? Thanks.

Buy it. For $150 it's a good deal.

It's a good deal, I say buy it. If it doesn't have one add a link belt to it and it will really smooth out.

Well, I guess I'll go by after work tomorrow and check it out. If it's in the condition the seller says, I'll go ahead and get it. For the price, I'm sure I won't take much of a loss if I don't like it and decide to sell it. Thanks.

I have two older versions. The newer ones are not the quality of the older ones, but they are more than adaquate. Take time to learn how to properly adjust all the parts and you will be satisfied.
