Confusing Radial Arm Saw

Hey All,

Last fall a gentleman was giving away an older radial arm saw for free. I went to go pick it up expecting a rusty piece of junk and lo and behold it was in near perfect condition! I have just recently set it up (still trying to get it square) but I am having some confusion on what model it is. On the spec plate on the tool itself its model #500270-00. I found this link http://vintagemachinery.org/photoind...l.aspx?id=8215 that shows my saw exactly. When I look up to find manuals for this model I cannot find any whatsoever. When I look at a model 1200 or 1400 manual such as the one here http://vintagemachinery.org/pubs/252/7345.pdf it also looks identical. To confuse things even more, this guy posts that his saw is a model #1400 but as you can see in his pics here http://people.delphiforums.com/perri...weethearts.htm his model number is actually #500268.

Does anyone have any idea if this could be the correct manual? I am kind of at my wits end trying to figure this out!

I would give this forum a try. It is suppose to be a very informative forum on old Dewalt radial arm saws.
