Can I get some advice on this table saw

I e-mailed the guy and asked how old it is, if he's replaced bearings, etc. Haven't heard back yet.

What else should I ask him?

Is this a good buy?

Looks like an older PM66, which is a very well built TS. Find out the HP, and whether or not it's 3 phase or single phase...single phase will run on residential 220v, 3 phase will need a converter or a new single phase motor. $700 seems reasonable if it's a 3hp single phase motor, and runs well...I'd want to add a better fence eventually.

I agree - if it's a 3hp motor, single phase, then it's a good buy. Powermatics don't last long on craigslist around here. They are serious workhorses that will run forever.

Insert witty signature line here.

What the guys above said! Good saw - as good or better than a Unisaw. The price is right assuming it's single phase.
