Lightbulb Bandsaw Tune Up Video...?

No, not another Video on how to tune your bandsaw.

Alex Snodgrass has already covered everything, right? NO.

You need to see this to understand what he missed:

Unfortubately, not all of us have the square blade guide holders which accept the "Cool Blocks" as he shows, BUT the other tip are really valuable. And as the owner of several wood and metal cutting bandsaws, I learned a few things. Some of the dynamic grinding tips I had done myself, but not to the extent he shows.

I gave it a big ....LIKE!

Good video. I can do without the foul language, but otherwise a good video.

I never do either, never even noticed that. But the wood won't care either way, it won't know the difference. I'll have to try it just to see, but I'm so used to pushing to the left into the fence I don't think I'll like doing it that way.

However, the other tips were really never emphasized in the Snodgrass Video, so they may be "new news" to some folks here..... just passing it along FYI.

There must be something to his setting up, he after all is demonstrating using a $5.00 bandsaw blade. Impressive results. Thanks for sharing.

Finally had 15 minutes to spare, well worth it.

I watched this video just after I bought my G0555 and I thought he made alot of good points. I dont go as far as he does but I do follow most of the tips he says.
