Bandsaw bearing replacement?
First time poster here. Did a search for bandsaw bearings and didn't get any answers to this, so....

I just purchased a used Grizzly G0457 bandsaw. I'm giving it a good deep cleaning, and I see that the lower (and possibly upper) blade guide bearings need replacement. The thrust bearing as well. They're pretty much frozen, or sap is gooping them up.

Anyway, the Grizzly site only seems to sell the complete assembly, and I don't need that. It seems that this is an item that might be an easy upgrade. I wanted your input.

I apologize if I'm not providing the right info. I'm new to this tool.

There will be numbers on the bearings, any bearing supplier should be able to match them up.

What frank said. If there's too much crap on the bearings to read the numbers, or if the numbers have flat out worn off, grab some calipers and measure the bore size, outer diameter and thickness and use those dimensions to order new bearings from whatever

I restored my 1946 Delta 14" around 1986 & just took the arbor & upper wheel bearings to a local supplier & they matched them up. They worked perfectly, and still do.

I needed to buy the upper blade guide, which was missing when I got the saw (it was free, so I couldn't complain), and it came with the guide bearing. I bought a replacement lower guide bearing from the same place mentioned above.
