18" wood bandsaw from WTTool

Their store is within 25 miles from me, I have been there many times. They have some name brand items ,Jet, Starret and others, and some made in China stuff. They have phase converters, lathes mills and gobs of tooling. I'm just passing on the info for those who may be on a budget and looking for a large bandsaw at a reasonable price, roughly 1/2 of the usual.

WTTool used ti have a store in this area (Stoughton MA). I used to get up there twice a month. A while back they closed this store down. The only way I can buy from them now is to mail order. What a shame.

18" saw with 1 1/2HP motor $700 new

Usually $1200 or so for the same size and power. For someone wanting a larger saw for a lot less money.

I'm just passing along the info.

I did purchase this saw years ago for $2400.00 and it's a great machine, but not made in China. http://www.wttool.com/index/page/pro..._shopping=true

Price isn't bad. Doesn't say anything about a riser kit. Would be better with 2HP.
