Tool carry

I've started doing some projects with nothing but hand tools. This is the first one that I've done. A nice wooden tool carry. I used to have normal fabric tool bags and plastic ones but they never last longer than a year in my van so the wood will hopefully last much longer!

Lighting in my house is quite dim and because the toolbox is mahogany varnished it doesn't show all that well...

Looks good but I hope you retracted the blade on the plane before putting it in the box.

Good looking idea! With time & use I'm guessing you will probably revise that style to carry more items. Always seems like something else is needed on most job sites. Thanks for sharing, and be safe.

You can't really see it in the other photos but this little chisel box that I made is underneath. The plane sits on the rim of the box which is why I put my plane directly on top of it. I wouldn't make it wider to be honest but I would consider making the next one 22" long and have a saw on the outside of the box.
