New No 5 Type 18 - Just cleaned it today

I keep forgetting to take before pictures. I'll have to remember to do that.

This was pretty rusty but mainly surface. A new one for my fleet... I keep several 5's with different settings on hand. It's my favorite plane size.

Looks good Gideon, nice restore.

You really should have before pictures.

I love seeing the before and after side-by-side. It is amazing how bad they can look, but then come back to a second life after a restoration.

Good work and a nice plane!

When I told my friends I was restoring a plane, they were very impressed at first. They thought I was restoring an aircraft.
