Don't confuse back saw with pull saw. I made that mistake and thought I had gotten a faulty tool. Back saws are named that because of the rigid spine along the top of the blade. They can come in either western push stroke or Japanese pull stroke. I only put this out there because I don't believe crown makes a Japanese style
Saw. You wouldn't want to wast your money buying two of the same type tools.

I want only push saws. I feel like I have more control over pushing than pulling. I hope the dovetail saw is not pull

Ok I had to look that up to be sure I was buying the correct saw and they had a video.

Iím a die hard DIY guy. Donít tell me to hire someone for what I can do myself.
