Multi- gauge by Oneway

Hi All,

Anyone have a multi-gauge made by Oneway? Heard great things so I ordered one but having trouble putting it together... And it's only two pieces! It says to slide the dial indicator into the cast iron frame but the hole is far too small. Kind of hard to explain and I don't know how to post pics yet but if any of you purchased one, you'll definitely know what I am talking about. So, am I missing something really obvious? Help please!

I have the Multi-Gauge and while I had to loosen the locking screw some and kind of wiggle the dial indicator with a bit of authority I was able to get it in without a bunch of gnashing of the teeth and stuff.
It really is a nice piece. I use it a bunch in the shop.

Trying to recall what I did when I got mine.

The tip of the indicator, where it touches the surface, is attached to the indicator rod with thread. If you remove that tip you should be able to insert the indicator rod into the hole in the cast iron holder. Then, reattach the tip.

Hope I understand you right and hope it helps.
