Deals on clamps?

I'm just getting back into woodworking and starting to set up a shop. I know I can never have enough clamps, so wondered how to learn of any deals, especially since it is Black Friday season.

Interested in picking up both Jet parallel clamps, F clamps and Irwin Quick Grip clamps.

Suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Peachtree often runs special on clamps

Sign up for the edirect specials. They have a great variety of clamps:

Woodcraft typically runs Jet clamps on sale during the holiday season, I picked up a few a couple of years ago, plan to grab some more if they run them this year.

Home Depot typically has quick clamps of some brand in their Christmas sale stuff.

Rockler has a variety of clamps, including a few that seem to be proprietary to Rockler. The sales seem to be on one size in a clamp family. Pick a clamp "family type". This month the 24 inch version may be on sale, but the others of the same family type are full price. The next month, the 24 inch version will go off sale, but the 36 inch version goes on sale ... you get the idea.

I like their "universal fence clamps" and use them often for a variety of uses:

Home Depot has a 4 pack (2x6" and 2x12") of Bessey F style clamps for $20. It's hard to beat Harbor Freight on price for clamps.

I have a bunch of Harbor Freight F-style clamps in various sizes. Cheap and effective. That said, I also have 2 pair of expensive Bessey clamps for long reaches.

I own some clamps that are older than I am. A good clamp will last a lifetime. If undamaged, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy used clamps. The main differences I see between an old clamp and a new clamp is the new clamp is prettier and the old clamp may be better made and stronger. Even the best named brands are now imports. The Harbor Freight clamps are inexpensive and good for light work.
