Hey Bill, I'm from St. Louis, and work at the Wentzville GM assembly center (work for Hewlett Packard), and visiting your lovely city of Detroit this week. Will be taking a class at the GM Tech Center in Warren. Just wanted to say "Hi". I don't really know ya, but maybe we could grab a burger and beer if you're up for it or whatever. I haven't been to Detroit for probably 10 to 12 years. Anyway, I'm open after 5:00 or so every night (except Friday - flying back to STL). Reply here or email me at drobins@hp.com or even phone me if you're interested. 636.373.4802. Dale

Hey, I see you are in Oakland County. I live in Brighton and work in Dearborn. Do you have any suggestions for places to get supplies and exotic woods around town? I'm new to woodworking and dont really know where to go.
    Thanks

    Morning Bill,
Hope you are surviving the cold. Got a Question, do you have a router table, and if so can you tell me this? How wide is the groove that the router plate sets in 1/2", 3/4" ????? The depth is not an issue because i am having the plate made so the thickness of the metal will give me that measurement. I know the opening overall is like 9-1/4"x11-1/2".

    Morning Bill,
The keepsake box turned out fantastic, the lady that is getting it will be very lucky.

    Morning Bill,
Sure nice to know that i can be accepted on this forum and hopefully even contribute.
I'm sure you already had your morning coffee "while you are looking out the window at all the cold weather". just FYI it happens to be in the high 60's here. I am trying to get some more pictures for my album, got a couple more guns that i built but i have to have the pictures sent to me via e-mail, and my very first woodworking project i done my junior year in HS, a night stand. That night stand is the real cause for all the money i have spent in my lifetime on woodworking tools. Have a nice Day and stay in where it's warm

Bill thanks confirming the proper way to install my TS arbor . Just recieved the arbor from Sears , works great, no noise but while tuning up my saw I noticed is out of line with the table . Is there away to adjust the arbor housing to make a true cut? When I checked the blade with the edge of the table its off aprox. 1\32 on my square. BTW thanks for advice on proper forum location for my thread it was my first and I moved it to machines & tools Don Murtha

Hi woodnthings, No I don't get ticked off as easy as I did in my younger days, just haven't been feeling too great lately and just been lurking.

I have a 19" griz bandsaw I need a mobile base for. I know i could buy many for fairly cheap but was wondering if you'd be interesting in making one for me, for a fee of course. You construction seems rock solid and i love the threaded T bolt idea. Think about it and get back to me.
