Bill thanks confirming the proper way to install my TS arbor . Just recieved the arbor from Sears , works great, no noise but while tuning up my saw I noticed is out of line with the table . Is there away to adjust the arbor housing to make a true cut? When I checked the blade with the edge of the table its off aprox. 1\32 on my square. BTW thanks for advice on proper forum location for my thread it was my first and I moved it to machines & tools Don Murtha

I have a 19" griz bandsaw I need a mobile base for. I know i could buy many for fairly cheap but was wondering if you'd be interesting in making one for me, for a fee of course. You construction seems rock solid and i love the threaded T bolt idea. Think about it and get back to me.

I think i have that same bandsaw and i also got that planer too. I spent about7 grand there in april to outfit my shop. So far Im happy. Still have the stock blade on the bandsaw, but i havent really used it. Any recommendations for blades? I also bought their 12" jointer....which is well worth the money. I had a DJ 20 before and although that was a fine machine....the extra capacity is so worth it.

Thanks for the mention of the one year anniversary. It took me a minute to figure it out. Man, has it been a year already?

It looks to me as if you are very prolific at woodworking and the know how to go wit5h it. I sent the "friend " request as I'm not and would like to be able to ask you questions when they arise.
    Thanks, Smokey

I love that avatar! Very good warning too. I park my truck well away from the drop zone now!

There are more great pics like this one here. http://www.micom.net/oops/

That almost happened to our house last summer when a tornado blew through here. A ginormous oak fell right next to the house. I was awake when it went down and just about crapped myself! Got a lot of of good firewood out of it.

    Bill,
Thanks for your kind comments. I have fun on the forums.

I did drywall for a year or so after getting out of the service in '68, just long enough to start getting a little bit of the hang of the finishing part, but not long enough to get good at it.

I hope the stilts didn't wreck your back!

I'm glad you got something out of my website.

    Thanks for letting me know.

    Bill,
    Bill,

Wow! I just saw pictures of your jewelry boxes. They are gorgeous! It is wonderful to see drawers without iron screwed to their sides.

    Beautiful work.
