I don't have plans. My wife and I walked around the various baby stores looking at cribs and I drew up some sketches and went from there.
The lighter wood is red oak and the darker wood is brazilian cherry. Three coats of clear shellac, brushed on, sanded with 120 inbetween coats. This was my first furniture project. Thank you for the compliments.
Very Very nice crib. My brother is going to to be a grandfather, for the first time, and is wanting to build a baby crib. I sent him this picture and he flipped over it. He was wandering what kind of wood it is built out of and if you could tell him where to get the plans. I am going to try to build a cradle out of tiger maple.
