Thats another thing too. I'm an avid golf nut in the summer. We don't get to play year round up here in the North (probably a good thing). We'll be out there in three of four more weeks though! Thanks for your comment about the boxes, I appreciate it. Just sold one of my favorites today on the Etsy site. In fact its the one I showed you earlier after you had me change the hinge locations .....it's one of my favorites and I hate to let it go (almost, he, he)

This is the one in case you don't remember: http://www.etsy.com/transaction/74570699

Man we got a lot in common! I also love college football, used to play guitar and sing in my younger days, love woodworking and.......of course, the beer. Thanks for your comments....you've helped me improve my work. Thanks

I took your advice on the newest posting of one of my boxes at: http://www.etsy.com/listing/91732484...k-keepsake-box - How does this look to you? I think I got it right this time.

Actually the hinges that I DID use were purchased at Menard's and were roughly the price you indicated. Are you saying that I could have used those same hinges but mortised them to the inside edges of the box and that is all I needed to do to make them more attractive and more highly desireable?

You're right about the hinges. I thought about that right after installing the el-chepos that I put on them. Additional boxes down the road will probably get 90° stop hinges installed. Thanks for the comment.
