Hello, I am new to the forum and spent a little time looking for the answer to my question before posting. Sorry if it is a dumb one.

I want to make a large table top out of a single slab with several compound curves. (Free-form mid-century modern look). I am almost certain the top will be too large to rough out the curves on a stationary band saw and I doubt very much whether a jig saw will cut this thickness of hardwood. Any ideas?

    Thanks
