Rex, it's good to hear from others that live or used to live in Oskaloosa. I'm retired from teaching school (actually a very early retirement, as I'm still in my 50's). My wife is a nurse and we heard about a position open here, and figured, why not try it. We fell in love with the laid back lifestyle, and we are staying put. I do miss Iowa, but there's something about looking out of my window and seeing ocean that I really like.
