I'm not turning the small dowels, here's a link where you can buy them, they are good quality. www.toysandjoys.com/ there are other places online also. If you want to make your own its pretty easy, just drill a hole the size you need for the dowel in a flat piece of metal and force a bigger dowel through it (a hammer and a scrap piece of wood to hit it with. It helps to sand one end of the dowel down (like a pencil) to start in the hole. Hope that helps....Terry
