How to apply would be good info for me, too. I saw a pro pour it on a youtube video, but spent little time explaining and didn't show much...also saw an idiot do it, it didn't turn out well...I don't want to be an idiot! I might just ask Dave, Daren or TexasTimbers if they can hook me up. Thank You George. Heather
GeorgeC, I'm officially bugging you now. Did ya forget? I'm just funnin' ya. Ordered resin from US Composites, just came today. I plan on playing with it in a week or 2 (probably 2) I feel pretty comfy after talking with their rep. I also saw a little video of a pour on youtube, but it'd be nice to get all the facts. Thank you kindly Sir! Heather
You mentioned an article in Woodsmith Dec issue #180, on applying resin in your post- finishing/ help with cherry countertop. I would like info. as I'm thinking of doing my kitchen counter (possibly painting or stained wood veneer) and using resin or envirotech. I don't know if these products are food safe, scratch resistant, can be sanded back to a smooth finish on down the road. I would like to possibly use it for tv trays, crafts, etc, so any advice would be appreciated. If you know anyone else who has specialty in resins, please send them my way. Thanks, Heather.
