Hi, I just scored a Craftsman RAS 10" like yours I think. Did you make a safety guide for the blade?

oops, sorry it was 3fingers that was working with filling grain on Hickery. The thread just got pushed up to the top.... way lucky tonight! But you did have the table with the lacquer on fire... way cool if I ever get enough experience with lacquer I've to to try that just to see the end results up close.
    Thanks

I was looking at way to many threads on here last night and I saw a pic on here I think was yours. It was a light color wood with looked like you filled the grain with a dark color. If that was you, can you tell me what was your process doing that? Or just point me to that post. I have weeded through more threads tonight trying to find that, since I didn't bookmark it. Also think I saw other pics of a project where you lit lacquer on fire for a way cool look. Didn't bookmark that one either. Actually my pc went dead and didn't restore like it should have when it had power again.

Oh and I'm not stalking you, I've been trying to figure out some really neat techniques that are not to labor intensive as far as # of steps. Yet I have to deal with challenges mainly ventilation... I have practically none...well and experience. Which one is worse.... yet to find out.
    Thank you so much!!!

Have you or any of your brothers made a table for your fire house yet? I am planning on making one and am just looking for designs?

    Thanks
