Fire, I saw your thread on the sorby texturing tool. I just got one today and was wondering about the learning curve on using it and if you had any tips on learning it.

    thanks Dale

Firehawkmph, I read one of your posts regarding your Bosch mitre saw. I was wondering if it is a model 3915 saw. I loaned mine to a friend who in turn loaned it to his brother in law without my permission. When I received the saw back the blade guard was broken and the blade guard linkage was missing. I have asked for the part and have been told "they can't find it". I went to a Bosch parts site and purchased a new blade guard and associated parts but find the blade guard linkage is obsolete. I have searched everywhere on the internet to no avail. If you have the model 3915 would you be willing to remove the linkage, trace it and all holes in it and possibly mail it to me so I reproduce one. It also has an offset so if you can measure the offset that would be great. Please let me know if you can help and if you can I would like to thank you in advance. Thanks,Walt in Columbus

I am new to this web site and have been enjoying the posts. I read that you have a tutorial available for turning a peppermill and salt shaker. I would very much appreciate a copy if they are still available. My email is charlie.kapper@verizon.net
I understand that you also produced instructional DVD's... Where can I find information on the available dvd's.

I'm interested in the video you offer regarding tool handle turning. I've turned a few chisel handles that look ho-hum.
I could really use your guidance if your offer still stands.
    Thanks, Brad

You mentioned in a recent post that you know a guy in Randolph who has rough cut lumber. Could you send me his name so I might contact him?

I see your picture a lot when viewing comments, so as a fellow woodworker I know you would enjoy....if you haven't already.......this site. lumberjocks.com. I stumbled across it by accident. Very similar to this site, so many more awsome projects to see.
Just thought you would like to know.
