recently started milling my own lumber with a chainsaw, started with an oak tree tree in my yard, word got around and now removing several large oaks from a building site, maybe more than I can chew or saw up. Sure neat seeing that pile of oak boards grow and starting to dry. Just paid $6.90bf at home depot for red oak for some end tables, looking forward to using my own lumber. Somehow I have doubts about running five oak trees through my table top planner.
