I've read your posts on water based poly and I would like to ask about its suitability for an application: Our kithen table has a factory applied lacquer finish and it is getting worn. I would like to give it a couple coats of new finish before the old finish gets to bad too finish over.
I have an automotive style cup gun and compressor that I can spray with. Most of my experience is from residential remodeling and I'm trying to ease into finer wood finishes - I really like your posts on how you have moved from lacquer to water based poly and your satisfaction with it.

Just a quick note to Thank You for your service in our military... I appreciate raising my family in relative peace without fear from invasion. Woodworkers never retire, they just take on side jobs.
