Default Router / Planer Cabinet

It's all in the title. Has anyone seen or thought of how to marry these two? I recently got a Delta bench top planer and would like to save space by combining a cabinet that on one side was the planer and the other was a router table. I haven't made the router table yet, but I do have the hardware to make the Norm Abrams version of a router cabinet; the plate, track, T-knobs, etc. So with this in mind I am hoping some of you can suggest a hybrid of sorts or where to look. Thanks in advance for the help and thoughts.

Joe, It may be difficult to marry the two together. You will have to leave room on top to be able to adjust the planer. So if you stack it will be too tall to use the router table. You could go to the side and make it side by side. this could have an advantage if you have the room. If you did it to the side you could make the top bigger, to go across both pieces. I have already built that table but I just built another table for my planer, nothing special but it works. Attachment 6579
