i work at a veneer plant and i see so much good wood being tossed so i was wondering if anyone has any ideas/projects so i can save some of this wood? i just got 3 pc's of 4" W x 6' L birdseye, i'm wanting to use some of it to back a bow with and then i'm not sure what im gunna use the rest for....i just got back my first deer i got from the taxidermist i might use a bigger chunk for a plaque for the mount and then the smaller pc's for a frame for the pic. i'm not to sure about the whole applying process though....is it just with a roller like countertops? also what kinda market is there for smaller scrap pc's? i was thinking e-bay. thanks for all the help and info.

You could offer Marquetry (sp?) packages that have different species in them.......
