Default long woodworking fence

I need to build a long (14 ft) fence for my chop saw. Any good designs to insure an accurate 90 degree joint? Thanks.

Why does he fence have to be that long? The fence does not have to be as long as the wood that you are going to cut.

Default The longer the fence the more horses you can hold in

Seriously....
What G missed is that you want to build a mitersaw/chopsaw station to support longer pieces and use length stops for multiple pieces. It's true that you can make accurate 90 degree cut with a fence 3 or 4 ft but the longer length makes it easier to "run and gun" with your cuts and it supports the length. I'd stagger the left side at 8 ft and the right side at 6 ft personally maybe even 10 and 4 ft.
Here's a link:How much wall and table space should I alocate for my miter saw?
Someone here made a great mitersaw station I try to find that post.

Going along with Bill's thoughts...

It is far more important to have support level with the chop saw table. Regardless of the piece that that is being cut, one hand holds the stock against the saw's fence and the other hand works the saw.

BTW - When I had a RAS, I made a long fence to the left of the saw's table. The long caused more problems with square cuts than it was worth. A board that is slightly curved at one end can throw off every cut made in that board.
