Default Google sketchup download

Anyone know what's up with Google sketchup? It doesn't seem to download from anywhere. I've been dying to try it.....

Try this. I did it the other day and it works fine. Just don't ask me how to use it. Red

I Just tied it and it worked for me.

If you are a SketchUp beginner and would like a free tutorial go to http://www.srww.com/google-sketchup.htm . It is an eight part tutorial that takes you through drawing a bedside table including shop drawings and texturing.

I just tried it ... it does NOT work for me. Download button just does nothing.

I did not put in a email address; could that be the difference?

Default Try it!!!

Just downloaded it and played with it for a few minutes, WHAT FUN!

I watched a few of the tutorial videos and learned the basics in 15 minutes. Now I am designing my new miter saw table with ease.

This is a great tool, now I just have to figure out how to show my designs to others, surely it can be done.

Its a great tool, everyone try it!

Yeah, I'd love to try it. Anyone have any ideas on why it downloads for some of us and not for others? How big is the file? Could someone who has the installation executable email it to those of us who can't get the download to work?

Thanks,

Paul

It's 32.6 MB. Too big to e-mail, I think.
You sure your pc hasn't got a firewall setting or something that is blocking downloads? You don't need an e-mail addressed entered to download it.

I'm not a computer guy but it sounds like you have a setting on your pc that is blocking you. It's a simple click and install software. Maybe someone can help. Good luck.

Google uses a lot of java and javascript on their pages. If you use something like NoScript it won't work properly. I've uploaded it to one of my sites, if anyone else is having problems downloading it PM me and I'll send you the link.
BTW it's 32.6Megs.

I don't know if you are using Windows Vista like I am, but it blocks downloads until you go back in and deliberately select it for running.
