Default built in ET center in niche

I need a couple of suggestions:
Attached is a rough sketch of the cabinet box I am going to build for my niche to house 1) the 52 in tv, 2) right next to the tv will be cabinet w/ glass door for electronics, and next to that 3) a dvd slide out cabinet. The bottom section will be all doors, while the top section (which is being built separately because the total unit is too large) will be open with shelves.

My concern is that the area directly above the tv is 51" wide, and I don't want it to bow/bend. I am thinking though, that if it is built with 3/4 birch, and the top section is also 3/4 birch, when the top section is laid on top of the first section, and joined, that it will be strong enough to prevent bowing/bending.

I need thoughts from others, with suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Add another vertical to divide space , if bottom had 3 spaces one would be centered under TV and top would match...
