Default spalted maple

Does anyone have recommendations on the best finish for spalted maple? I've been using danish oil on my boxes, but I've never used this wood before. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Kevin

Don't see why you can't use natural Danish Oil on Spalted Maple. Follow it up with wax and you should be good to go.

For spalted maple "Let the wood speak!".

I really like the danish oil, it brings up any tiger curl illusion very nice too.

Thanks, Tom. I wasn't sure if I could use the danish oil because of the spalting. I think this is going to be a beautiful box. I'm accenting with bloodwood & wenge. Will post pictures when it's done.
Thanks again, Kevin
