Default My wifes wood ring?

I turned my wifes engagemen ring on our lathe. Originally i finished it with boiled linseed oil. I wish I had used something mre durable like a spar urethane. I want to refinish it bt am unsure what I can use ontop of the linseed oil that will be durable. Any tips would be great. I could sand it down to raw wood but the linseed oil may still affect the finnish. I'm going for durability. The wood is cocobolo.

Thanks,
Patrick

More oil would be the best choice.

I wouldn't use poly for sure. Once moisture gets through the finish, and it will eventually happen, it will look terrible. I'd just add more oil and polish it up with some beeswax.
