I had a customer bring in a night stand the the pit bull chewed a corner of of the top. (bad dog!) Anyway I repaired the corner with stick epoxy and the epoxy is grat in color and I need to color it a Cherry. Can I do this with gel-stain or is there a better way?

Grat is a horrible color indeed.

Epoxy is not a good medium to accept stain. It's a non-porous material. You may have to use a paint formulation to create the look of the wood.

I don't know. Is it next to the question mark?

The sky is grat here and its rating out.

Just kidding, If you paint the stain on without wipeing you may be able to cover it.

You should look for some Mohawk blendal sicks they are wax crayons to fill holes. A small box has 12 colors. Unless the damage was to bad. I'm sure a pitbull can do a lot of damage.

No more damage than any other dog, I can assure you.

My Beagle caused $5K worth of "improvments" to my deck one year.
