Default Jet clamps

I recently purchased 6 of the "relatively new" jet wood clamps. Of the 6, 2 of them slip on the bar when I tighten the handle. It almost appears that the burled edge on the bar is flawed -- not deep enough to hold the clamp. Has anyone experienced the same problem?

Thanks for your help!!

Abeard,
Don't have any of the jet clamps. I have had different clamps do the same thing over the years. I take them back and exchange them for new ones. Sometimes you may get a bad one.
