Default Finishing a TV cabinet.

So this is my first post to the forum. I have been woodworking for about a year and half now and thoroughly enjoy it! My father worked as a trim carpentry for a while between jobs (5 years I think). His house is on its 22 year of the remodel. He does everything himself and does wonderful work. I will post some of his work sometime.

My question is what people think of milk paint. I have a read a bit about it and think it will be great choice of a TV cabinet I have almost finished. I am planning on putting a few coats of color under multiple coats of black and then sanding a little for that distressed look. Here are some pictures. I hope you enjoy!

That is a great looking TV cabinet. I know nothing about milk paint as far as actually using it. Only read a little about it. Waiting for that perfect project to try it on. Looking forward to seeing how yours turns out.
