Default can you "recondition" a painted exterior door?

Hope no one minds what might be a stupid question...

We have mahagony doors, custom made, installed, and painted by the previous owners. For paint, they seemed to have used a "regular" Benjamin Moore exterior paint. (And before everyone freaks out about just painting beautiful mahagony doors, it's a 140 year old house in Brooklyn, and they used the original colors, so it's in keeping with the original architecture/style.) The paint isn't peeling or chipping or anything, but it's looking weathered--just kind of dry and loosing its richness. I'm just wondering if that means it's time to give it another coat of paint, or if there's some kind of conditioner or cleaner I can use.

Thanks much, in advance!

If it just needs freshening up with a coat of paint. Thoroughly clean the surface, sand lightly with about 200 sandpaper getting into all the cracks/crevices, clean off all the dust, paint.
