Default CA finish?

I noticed mention of using CA glue for a finish in a recent thread, that stumped me! How do you do it without sticking your rag to the piece?
Are there any other finishing techniques that sounds crazy but works great?

George,
It's the woodworking version of super glue. Comes in three thicknesses,
Thin (runs down and glues your fingers together before you know it)
Medium (a little thicker, doesn't run so quickly, gives you a little chance to pull your fingers apart)
Thick (good for filling gaps and slow moving, like lava in the old volcano movies)

I have never tried it as a finish. I normally use it to fill gaps and secure cracks in turning pieces. Oh, and occasionally for gluing my fingers together. Seriously, it does work well for gluing those little cracks you get in your fingers next to your nails during the winter time.

CA = cyanoacrylates
AKA Superglue / Krazy Glue.

This is one of the best step by step process on how to do a CA finish.

While this may work with a pen on a lathe I wouldn't want to try this with a full sized piece of furniture.
