Im looking for a place that might give lessons, and sell supplies for turning in south east wisconsin.

Do you have a Woodcraft close by? They generally have weekend workshops. Also, try your local technical college

I don't know how far "southeast" you are, but the turning club in Madison meets at The Woodcraft Store. They have several clinics on tap for the winter months also. The store is well versed in turning and has a good supply of tools and finishes and also some nice blanks for purchase.
