Default small goblet

This is just a teaser. I tried to make the smallest goblet that I could this weekend. This is a shot of one of the smaller ones but the smallest is actually 1/2 or maybe 1/4 this size. I haven't photographed it yet because I want to measure it first to get the exact dimensions. I'm afraid I might lose it trying to photograph it.
This was shot on a penny with a standard sized pin next to it.

John, another killer little project. You know now that I think about it I am liking your micro work more and more. I used to sell burls to tuners...and they would make a beautiful 30 lb burl into 28 1/2 lbs of shavings and a bowl . I can see you getting some mileage out of your wood stash.

And please forgive me for this , that was just too funny not to make it a running joke. Nobody is belittling your work by tampering with your pictures, it is truly amazing . But this forum stuff is all about having fun too right ?

John, you not even using wood to turn are you ? Acrylic? I can't think of many species that would have that fine of grain that could be turned so small, you are getting down near cellular proportions.

Daren That one is Yellow heart. The smallest one that I haven't photographed yet is Cherry. Ebony sucked it has small pores that blow up if they are in the stem. I actually tried Corian but it's too fragile and the stems break.

Nathan fired me months ago for being a trouble maker, but just like you put "Just call me Sir" under your name I keep putting "Moderator" back under mine to mess with the real moderators .
No Sir LB I don't want to get you wound up, I will play it cool (for awhile )
