Hello! I am Mike from NC and I just wanted to say hello to everyone. It looks like we have a talented bunch of members here. I am looking forward to meeting each of you.

I live in Hudson, NC near Hickory. I have been turning pens for almost five years now. It started out as a hobby since I was laid off from the machine shop. Now it has turned into a small business for me. I am always looking for new and different woods, horn, nuts to turn and make a pen or bowl from so I look forward to any input you can give me.
